Hey Hey !
My name is Daisha Johnson, and I was Born and Raised in Detroit Michigan.
I have 2 older sisters Candace Johnson and Kenya Johnson and one younger Brother Kenneth Johnson II. I was blessed to have extremely loving parents Sharon Johnson and Kenneth Johnson who have helped in many ways shape who I am today.
I adopted a 14 lb. 7-year-old thiccccc Cat named Little Foot in 2017 and she has been my child and best friend since.
I’ve known my Boyfriend James since my freshman year at Michigan State University 2014 and I've fallen deeper in love with him each day after.
Through many ups and downs he’s my best friend, rock, soulmate and surely my person for life. We’ve been together for 7 Years and hopefully many more to come.
I played Travel (AAU) and Varsity Volleyball as a libero/defensive specialist for 5 years before weightlifting. I Joined my first gym in 2015 and fell in love with learning the ins and outs of improving my athletic performance. I was heavy into the H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) game and was lean lean but… I wanted more of everything, so I grew a curiosity for weight training, specifically powerlifting (non- competitive). I did a lot of research on how to deadlift, squat and many other exercises along with general knowledge on just getting strong. Eventually, I found my body unbalanced and ghetto looking. I could lift hella weight…YES but still very little growth.
So, through much more trial and error I found my way to directing my focus on developing a strong Mind/Muscle Connection. I Majored in Human Physiology and picked up a minor in Health Promotion while further developing my understanding on muscle hypertrophy (Growth in Size). I successfully graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and minor in health promotion and 1 year later January 2020 I was heavily convinced into competing in my first ever bodybuilding competition and the rest is literally history. In December I competed in the USA National Championships and earned my Pro Card at my First show ever.
Since then, I've only grown more in love with the sport of Bodybuilding and very much so invested in becoming my absolute best self and eventually and objectively the best in the world within the Wellness Category. Now ..of course I realize it’s a subjective sport, but I limit myself to nothing when it comes to my goals. Bodybuilding is my true passion, and I am forever grateful and thank God each day to have helped me find my purpose in my lifetime.
I am in no way perfect in many areas of my life, but I do take full ownership of my rights and wrongs, and I make full efforts each day to become better. I am forever dedicated to my goals and yours and when I say I will….I will make it happen even on my last dollar I will get it done.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to get to know me a bit more and I truly look forward to helping you in some way shape or form.
Love Daisha
